There is plenty to do if you visit downtown Philadelphia.  But if you are an art lover, youâ??re sure to find incredible galleries in Philadelphia to explore.  Here is a small sampling.

 

The Old City District is a historic area which contains 25 or more wonderful galleries.  These galleries in Philadelphia contain all kinds of works of art and you can find pieces for every budget and taste.

 

Plan to spend the better part of the day exploring this area.  Park your car and walk among the different galleries in Philadelphia.  Some of the must see establishments include the 3^rd Street Galleries, ArtJaz Gallery and the Artistsâ?? House Gallery.

If your time is limited, visit a few and come back again and again.  It is a wonderful experience viewing artwork which is ever changing.  Or if you want to experience truly one of kind masterpieces throughout history, a visit to the Philadelphia Museum of Art has to be a must see.
