Rebecca Leicht is a freelance writer for Time Magazine, currently based in Jerusalem. Her most recent political gig was as a writer for Mayor Michael Bloomberg's PlaNYC: Creating a Greener, Greater New York City. She is an ongoing consultant for The Task Force on Human Trafficking, and has experience in political and non-for-profit fundraising, academic and non-academic editing, and Congressional affairs. Rebecca holds a masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, and regularly works with educators and lecturers to increase their use of poetry in teaching environments large and small.
